Abstract

According to the road and traffic characteristic parameter indexes of highway networks, a new model for evaluating highway network planning schemes i.e. two-grade comprehensive evaluating model with multiple fuzzy operators, is put forward. The model is combined with the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to determine the weights of evaluating indexes. The application of the model in the comprehensive evaluation of the trunk highway network planning schemes of Shanxi province (in China) is introduced in detail.
