Abstract

Safety in road tunnels is for the driver an almost nonvisible sector. It is very important that the public is informed of everything that is done for a safe driving through a road tunnel. This report will show which safety equipment will be installed in different length road tunnels. Also, a comparison between international, German and Austrian guidelines will be given.
