Abstract
This report shows the state of the road tunnel equipment technology in Japan. The contents are based on the published materials and the recent data from the tunnels in public use. Chapter 1 shows the general affairs of road tunnels and tunneling technology in Japan. Chapters 2, 3, and 4 discuss road tunnel ventilation, road tunnel lighting, and road tunnel safety technology, respectively.
