Abstract
The Strategic Highway Research Program's Structures Research has investigated methods to protect chloride contaminated concrete components against deterioration, and to rehabilitate and protect those components exhibiting corrosion-induced distress. This paper describes the development of the research plan, its implementation, and the products which were developed. The paper covers testing and evaluation methods, cathodic protection, electrochemical removal, nonelectrochemical rehabilitation techniques and a decision model for rehabilitating corrosion-damaged, reinforced concrete structures.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
