Abstract
[Objective] To understand the distribution of staphylococcus and its drug resistance to the commonly used antibacterial in the clinic, and to provide basis for clinicians choice of antibacterial.[Methods] Using VITEK32 Type Full-automatic Bacteria Analysis System From January 2006 to December 2008,we carried out identification clinically isolated staphylococcus in our hospital,K-B method was used for drug sensitivity test, the judgment standard was according to 2004 year edition of NCCLS.[Results] Among 430 strains of isolated staphylococci, there were 100 strains of staphylococcus aureus and 32 strains of methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),accounting for 32.0%;There were 330 strains of coagulasenegative staphylococci and 275 strains of methicillin-resistant coagulase-negative staphylococci(MRCNS),accounting for 83.3%.The drug resistance rates of MRSA and MRCNS,except to vancomycin and teicoplanin resistance were 0%,and the drug resistance to the majority of other anti-bacterial were all higher. The drug resistance rates of methicillin-sensitive staphylococcus(MSS),except to penicillin, ampicillin, clarithromycin and erythromycin, etc.were higher(51.8%-88.2%),and it to other antibacterial were lower.[Conclusion] The drug resistance rate of staphylococcus in this hospital has a gradually increasing tendency. So the clinicians should choose the antibacterial based on the results of drug susceptibility.
