Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of Dunhuang Shishi Dabao(DHDB) capsule on calcium homeostasis in brain tissue of the aging model rats. Methods The subacute aging model rats were made by injecting D-gal into abdominal cavity continually, and Na+-K+-ATPase,Ca2+-ATPase,Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase and Ca2+ levels in brain tissue were evaluated. Results The model group hand the downregulated Na+-K+-ATPase,Ca2+-ATPase and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase levels(P0.01,P0.05),and the significantly increased Ca2+ levels(P0.05).After treated with DHDB, Na+-K+-ATPase,Ca2+-ATPase,Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase levels were upregulated(P0.05,P0.01),Ca2+ levels was reduced significantly(P0.05).Conclusions DHDB can regulate calcium homeostasis in aging rats′brain.
