Abstract
Objective To explore the early diagnostic value of combined determination of serum Cys C,urine α1-MG and β2-MG in diabetic nephropathy. Methods Serum Cys C,urinary α1-MG and β2-MG of patients with diabetic nephropathy were detected by immunoturbidimetry. Results The concentrations of serum Cys C,urinary α1-MG and β2-MG were significantly higher in patiens of diabetic nephro-pathy than in those of controls.Compared with the determination of a single or two markers, the combined determination of the three markers raised the positive rate of patients with diabetic nephropathy. Conclusion Serum Cys C,urinary α1-MG and β2-MG are sensitive markers for glomerular filtration rate and can indicate early renal impairment in patients.
