Abstract

Objective To study the expression level of urinary NAG and serum Cys-C in different stages of diabetic nephropathy, and to explore the diagnostic significance in diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 252 cases of hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes admitted in our hospital were divided into three groups according to the urine albumin excretion(UAE),81 cases in normal albuminuria group(group A) : 30 mg/d;85 cases in microalbuminuria group(group B) :(30-300) mg/d;86 cases in lots of proteinuria group(group C):300 mg/d.Detected the urine NAG and serum Cys-C level in urine samples and blood samples.Results(1)Compared with control group, the urine NAG of the other two groups increased significantly, and gradually increased along with the development of diabetic nephropathy.(2)The serum Cys-C level increased in the normal albuminuria period, gradually increased along with the development of diabetic nephropathy, and earlier than the rising of creatinine.(3)The combined detection of urine NAG and serum Cys-C significantly increased the diagnostic rate of diabetic nephropathy. Conclusion Urinary NAG and serum Cys-C are early diagnosis indicators of diabetic nephropathy, and the combined use of them can significantly increase the early diagnostic rate of diabetic nephropathy.
