UREAPLASMA UREALYTICUM AND CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS INFECTION WITH INFERTILITY

Abstract
[Objective] To exploare the Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) infection with infertility.[Methods] 120 infertile women were selected from our hospital from January 2007 to December 2009,and they were to be observation group.120 health women were randomly selected at the same period in our clinic and as control group.UU and CT results of the two groups were compared.[Results] The positive rates of UU,CT and UU + CT were 38.3%,30.8% and 14.2% in observation group,and were 8.3%,4.2% and 3.3% for control group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P﹤0.01);The positive rate of UU,CT and UU + CT among primary infertility was significantly lower than the secondary infertility,but the differences were no significant difference between the two groups(P﹥0.05).[Conclusion] Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) infection was associated with infertility,and UU and CT should be used as routine infertility test items.
