Abstract
[Objective] To study the risk factors of cerebral infarction and the preventive measures.[Methods] The 10 risk factors were compared between recurrent cerebral infarction group of 53 cases and initially cerebral infarction group of 137 cases by multiple Logistic regression analysis.[Results] The average age of recurrent and initially cerebral infarction group was 69.00±10.30 and 62.31±12.58,respectively.There was significant difference between them(P﹤0.01).The males were significantly more than female in the initially cerebral infarction group(87/50),and this proportion was higher than that in recurrent group(P﹤0.01).The single factor analysis revealed that the hyperhomocysteinemia, alcohol and family history were the risk factors for recurrent cerebral infarction(P=0.035,0.022,0.012).Multivariate analysis revealed that hyperhomocysteinemia was association with recurrent cerebral infarction(OR=2.074).[Conclusion] Hyperhomocysteinemia is an independent risk factor in cerebral infarction, and preventive treatment should be taken.
