Abstract

[Objective]To probe into the risk factors and clinical features of recurrent cerebral infarction.[Methods]Selected 86 patients with recurrent cerebral infarction admitted from February 2005-June 2010 as a research group, and 86 cases of earlier onset of cerebral infarction as the control group. The age, gender, past medical history, complications, risk factors, neurological deficit scores at admission and discharge time, and other relevant data in both groups were statistically analyzed.[Results]Compared with control group, drinking as bad habit, associated with diabetes, atrial fibrillation, and family history of hypertension, the higher rate of stroke were found in study group, there were significant differences(P﹤0.05).The mortality in study group was significantly increased,up to 19.77%,there were also significant differences(P﹤0.05).The incidence of myocardial damage in study group was significantly higher,up to 73.26%,there were also significant differences(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Only full attention to the risk of factors and clinical characteristics caused by recurrent cerebral infarction, and accordingly to these mentioned above,it should take positive and effective control measures to reduce the incidence of recurrent cerebral infarction.
