Abstract
Anti hydatid efficacy of Tetrandrine and Albendazole in vitro on Echinococcus granulosus protoscolex(EgPSC) was first investigated. The cultured Egpsc were divided into groups, such as different concentrative Tetrandrine groups, Albendazole group, combination of the two drugs and control group. The mortality of EgPSC in each group was daily counted. Compared with the control group, the mortality of EgPSC was significantly different (P0.05); Eecept for high concentrative Tetrandrine group, the mortality of EgPSC of combitation group was higher than that of other single treated groups (P0.05). It indicated that Tetrandrine have obviously killing effect on EgPSC. Especially, the combination of the two drugs improve efficacy against EgPSC and two drugs have synergistic action.
