Abstract
Objective To approach anti hydatid efficacy of Verapamil and Albendazole in vitro on Echinococcus granulosus protoscolex (EgPSC). Method The cultured EgPSC were divided into groups, such as different concentrative Verapamil groups, Albendazole group, combination of two drugs and control group. The mortality of EgPSC in each group was daily counted. Result The mortality of EgPSC was significantly different compared with the control group (P0.05). Conclusion It revealed that Verapamil had obviously killing effect on EgPSC. Especilly, the combination of the two drugs could improve efficacy against EgPSC and two drugs were of synergistic action.
