Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of budesonide combined with terbutaline in the treatment of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis. Methods Select 72 children with asthmatic bronchitis treated in our hospital from July, 2016 to June, 2019 were selected as study objects, and were randomly divided into a basic group, treated with budesonide aerosolized inhalation therapy, and a combined group, treated with budesonide and terbutelin aerosolization therapy, 36 cases for each group. The time for the disappearance of related symptoms, length of hospital stay, and incidence of related adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The time for the disappearance of cough and wheezing and the length of hospital stay were shorter in the combined group than in the basic group (both P 0.05). Conclusion Budesonide combined with terbutaline in the treatment of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis can help shorten the time to improve the children’s symptoms without increasing the incidence of related adverse drug reactions. Key words: Children; Asthmatic bronchitis; Budesonide; Terbutaline
