Abstract
Objective To study the effect of early rehabilitation nursing intervention on the occurrence of shoulder-hand syndrome in patients with stroke. Methods A total of 120 patients with stroke were randomly divided into two groups,60 cases were in each group. The patients of control group were treated with routine therapy and nursing in the department of neurology. The patients of observation group were treated with routine therapy and early rehabilitation nursing intervention. Results The method of Fugl-Meyer(FMA)was adopted to assess movement function, improved index of Barthel(MBI)was used to assess the ability of ADL(Activities of Daily Living). The scores of observation group were higher than these of control group greatly(P < 0.05).The occurrence of shoulder-hand syndrome was compared between two groups. The occurrence rate of it was 12% in observation group, which was obviously lower than that of in control group with 30%(P <0.01).Conclusions Early rehabilitation nursing intervention is helpful to prevent and decrease the occurrence of shoulder-hand syndrome in patients with stroke, and can obviously improve movement function and the ability of ADL,reduce disability rate, improve the quality of life. Key words: Rehabilitation nursing; Stroke; Shoulder-hand syndrome
