Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in refractory ascites due to liver cirrhosis. Methods 100 cases of refractory ascites due to liver cirrhosis admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to April 2016 were randomly divided into two groups. Control group received routine care including health education, illness monitoring, drug delivery, postural nursing, bedside nursing, life nursing, and experimental group received comprehensive nursing intervention including mental nursing, behavioral intervention, abdominocentesis intervention, diet intervention on the basis of control group. Compared the overall treatment effect, the incidence of complications, coping style score before and after the intervention, and nursing satisfaction. Results The total effective rate in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.01); the incidence of complications in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05); facing score in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group, avoiding and yielding scores were significantly lower than those in control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.01); nursing satisfaction in experimental group was significantly better than that in control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention has significant clinical effect in refractory ascites due to liver cirrhosis, which can increase nursing satisfaction, worthy of clinical promotion. Key words: Refractory ascites due to liver cirrhosis; Comprehensive nursing; Coping style; Satisfaction
