Abstract
Bronchial asthma(asthma) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the lung,which is involvedwith various cells and cytokines. The pathogenesis of asthma is not well-known yet. Now it is recognized thatthe imbalance of Th1/Th2 response leading to excessive activation of the Th2 cells is one of the importantmechanisms of immunology. The polyphenic cytokines produced by Th2 cells,such as IL-4,IL-5 and IL-13,have been certified to play a significant role in this process and are related with asthma pathogenesis.
