Abstract
Objective To evaluate the reason of the teeth root fracture with post - core crown restoration. Methods One hundred and fifty - two cases of residual root and crown with post - core crown used to observe the effect. Results After three and a half years of observation of 21 cases of root fracture, 14 cases of post (crown) loose. Conclusions The post - core crown pulpless teeth not only have to consider inereasing the retention of post -core crown, but should retain the natural tooth as can as possible, to preserve the remaining teeth tooth structure for good long - term effects.
