Effects of comprehensive nursing on respiratory function after pancreatoduodenectomy in elderly patients

Abstract
Objective
To analyze the effect of comprehensive nursing on respiratory function after pancreatoduodenectomy.
Methods
A total of 60 patients who received pancreaticoduodenectomy were randomly selected and were divided into the control group and the nursing group.Patients in the control group were treated with routine care, and the nursing group had comprehensive nursing intervention to prevent respiratory complications.
Results
The incidence of postoperative respiratory complications in nursing group was significantly lower than that in the control group.And the nursing satisfactionwas significantly higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusions
Comprehensive nursing care can reduce respiratory function of pancreaticoduodenal resection of elderly patients with respiratory complications, improve patients' care satisfaction, shortening time of patients in hospital and help patients with postoperative recovery.
