Abstract

Objective To study the diagnostic value of transabdominal sonography (TAS) combined with transvaginal sonography (TVS) in ectopic pregnancy. Methods One hundred and ninety-five patients with ectopic pregnancy were divided into three groups by random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. Group A was examined by TAS, group B was examined by TVS, while group C was examined by TAS combined with TVS. The detection rate of ectopic pregnancy, ultrasonic characteristics of ectopic pregnancy were compared among the three groups. Results The detection rate of ectopic pregnancy was 75.38% in group A, 87.69% in group B and 96.92% in group C, the difference in detection rate among the three groups was statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusions TAS combined with TVS can effectively improve the detectione rate of ectopic pregnancy, and clearly show ultrasonic characteristics of ectopic pregnancy, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. Key words: Ectopic pregnancy; Transabdominal sonography; Transvaginal sonography; Transabdominal sonography combined with transvaginal sonography
