Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of transabdominal sonography(TAS) and transvaginal sonography(TVS) in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods The clinical and ultrasound data of 165 patients diagnosed as ectopic pregnancy were analyzed retrospectively and divided into two groups, stable and unstable group. The positive rates of TAS and TVS in two groups were compared respectively. Results In stable group, the positive rates of TAS and TVS were 83.2% and 94.7%,and in unstable group, the positive rates of TAS and TVS were 94.2% and 76.9%.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups. Conclusion TAS had advantage in the emergency of ectopic pregnancy, and TVS was better than TAS in early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy.
