Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical significance and expression of proliferation cell nuclear antigen(Ki- 67)and E- cadherin in bladder transitional cell carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of Ki-67 and E-cadherin in 48 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma, and the relationship between their expression and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The expression of Ki-67 and E-cadherin was negatively correlated (P<0.05), and their positive rate was 83.3% and 47.9% respectively. They were related to tumor pathological grade and clinical stage. Conclusion Detection of Ki-67 and E-cadherin will help determine the invasion and metastasis ability of bladder transitional cell carcinoma. Key words: Bladder transitional cell carcinoma; Proliferation cell nuclear antigen; E-cadherin
