The influence of comprehensive nursing on the cancer pain and life quality of patients with recurrent and metastatic breast cancer

Abstract
Objective
To discuss the influence of comprehensive nursing on the cancer pain and life quality of patients with recurrent and metastatic breast cancer.
Methods
A total of 122 cases of patients with recurrent and metastatic breast cancer treated in our hospital from May 2013 to June 2015 were selected and were randomly divided into comprehensive group and general group, 61 cases in each group.Patients of the general group were given regular nursing intervention, while patients of the comprehensive group were given comprehensive nursing intervention.The influence of the two methods on the degree of cancer pain, anxiety, depression emotions and the improvement conditions of life quality of the two groups were compared.
Results
After comprehensive nursing, the total cancer pain improvement rate of the comprehensive group was 85.2%, which was obviously higher than that of the general group's 63.9%.The difference showed a statistical significance (P<0.05). The SAS, SDS and QLQ-52 scores of the two groups after nursing were obviously lower than that before nursing.The difference showed a statistical significance (P<0.05). After nursing, the SAS, SDS and QLQ-52 scores of the comprehensive group were obviously lower than that of the general group.The difference showed a statistical significance (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Comprehensive nursing can significantly improve the cancer pain degrees for patients with recurrent and metastatic breast cancer and can improve the patients' life quality.
