The Research of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on Postoperative Breast Cancer Patients’ Quality of Life

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the comprehensive nursing intervention on postoperative breast cancer patients’ quality of life. Method:From 2008 January to 2011 December in our hospital for postoperative breast cancer patients as the clinical nursing objects, they were randomly divided into nursing group and control group, the control group patients were given conventional nursing, and nursing group were given comprehensive nursing intervention measures, and then record two groups of patients in the nursing and after by Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and breast cancer patients quality of life scale (FACTB Chinese edition 4)scoring.Result:By comprehensive nursing, Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores of nursing group were significantly lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05).In addition the nursing group in the measurement of quality of life scale (FACTB Chinese edition 4) also scored significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improve depression and anxiety of breast cancer patients, improve the quality of life, improve the nurse-patient relationship. So it is a kind of effective models of nursing on postoperative breast cancer patients.
