Nursing intervention on quality of life of cancer patients

Objective To explore the influence of the nursing intervention on the life quality of the patients with cancer.Methods 80 cases with malignant tumor were chosen from January 2009 to January 2011 in our chemotherapy as the observation group,and were treated with comfortable comprehensive care,and another 80 patients with malignant tumor in the same period with chemotherapy were chosen as control group,and were treated with general conventional nursing methods,the use of cancer the quality of life of the patients core questionnaire(QLQ-C30) nursing effect evaluation,and two sets of patients with side effects of chemotherapy were observed and compared.Results After six months of nursing intervention,the cancer patients psychosomatic symptoms improved.The quality of life in intervention group after treatment was much better than that in the control group(P 0.05),the score table of QLQ-C30 function components in the observation group before and after psychological intervention had significant differences compared with control group(P 0.01 or P 0.05);only two scores of symptoms scale of pain and difficulty of breathing in the control group had significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion In patients with malignant tumor implement targeted comfortable comprehensive nursing intervention can improve the psychological state of the cancer patients and the quality of life.
