Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of micro-pump on regulating insulin and controlling blood glucose in patients with esophageal cancer and diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 84 patients with esophageal cancer and diabetes admitted to the hospital from June 2016 to June 2018 were selected, and the patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table, 42 cases of each group. The control group received subcutaneous injection of insulin according to the blood glucose level, and the observation group received continuous pumping of 1∶1 insulin vein after surgery. The results of blood glucose control and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the peripheral blood glucose in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), while the time of blood glucose reaching the standard and the average length of hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The observation group had higher blood glucose compliance rate and treatment satisfaction rate than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05), while the incidence of incision infection rate, pulmonary infection, hypoglycemia and other adverse reactions was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusions Micro-pump regulation of insulin can effectively control the blood glucose level of patients with esophageal cancer and diabetes, reduce the adverse reactions of patients, and improve the treatment effect and satisfaction rate of patients.
