Effect of collaborative nursing model on self-care ability, quality of life and complications of hemodialysis patients with diabetic nephropathy

Objective To explore the effect of collaborative nursing model on self-care ability, quality of life and complications of hemodialysis patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 110 cases of diabetic nephropathy patients who received hemodialysis treatment in this hospital from June 2011 to June 2014 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 55 cases each.The control group was given routine nursing care during hemodialysis treatment, and the observation group was given collaborative nursing mode on the basis of routine nursing care in the control group.The ability of self-care was assessed by the Exercise of Self-care Agency Scale (ESCA), and the quality of life was assessed by the Quality of Life Scale (SF-36). Meanwhile, the complications of patients during hemodialysis were analyzed and compared. Results The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The self-nursing ability score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The incidence of infection, heart failure, hypotension and other complications during hemodialysis treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01-0.05). Conclusion The implementation of collaborative nursing mode during hemodialysis treatment of diabetic nephropathy patients can enhance the self-care ability of patients, improve the quality of life of patients, and help reduce the incidence of complications.
