Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of family nursing interventions on health-related behaviors and prognosis in hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 120 cases of diabetic nephropathy undergoing hemodialysis were randomly assigned to the observation group and control group, each comprising 60 cases. Both groups received the routine therapy and nursing care, and family nursing interventions were added to the observation group. After a 6-month follow-up,the changes of the health-related behaviors and the incidence of the complications were compared between the two groups. Results The health-related behaviors of the observation group after interventions were superior to those of the control group, and the incidence of the complications including edema, heart failure, imbalance syndrome, hypoglycemia and hypotension were markedly lower in the observation group than that in the control group, showing a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05 or 0.01).Conclusion The family nursing interventions can considerably improve the health-related behaviors and prognosis in hemodialysis patients.
