Abstract

Objective To observe the clinic efficacy of Lingpixinspray used after procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids ( PPH ).Methods 600 patients who had undgone PPH were randomly divided into a study group and a control group,300 for each group. The study group received Lingpixin spray to apply on the wound surface, whereas the control group received erythrocin ointment for external application.Relief of hemorrhoids-induced pain and edema and healing time were observed in the two groups. Results The study group was markedly superior to the control group in the efficacy for pain relief after the first use of spray, edema reduction 24 hours after spray uses, and acceleration of wound healing. Conclusions Lingpixin spray for stopping bleeding and pain relief has a better effect which can reduce edema and stimulate wound healing after PPHi.As compared with erythrocin ointment,Lingpixinspray can rapidly relieve pain in patients and reduce financial burden on patients and society. Key words: Hemorrhoids; Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids; Lingpixinspray
