Mayinglong Shexiang Hemorrhoids Ointment combined with photon therapeutic apparatus at local area for patients after mixed hemorrhoids surgery: clinical research

Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of Mayinglong Shexiang Hemorrhoids Ointment( MSHO) combined with photon therapeutic apparatus at local area on wound healing after mixed hemorrhoids surgery. Methods One hundred and ninety patients who received mixed hemorrhoids surgery were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group randomly,95 cases in each one.Since the first day after surgery,the control group was treated with MSHO after routine dressing change,and the treatment group was additionally treated with photon therapeutic apparatus at wound area. The post-surgery pain,wound-edge edema,wound healing were observed in two groups respectively. Results 7 days after surgery,there were 90 patients with no pain or mild pain in the treatment group,and there were 82 patients with complete disappear of wound-edge edema,which were significantly different from the control group( P 0. 05). The wound healing time in the treatment group were significantly shorter than that in the control group( P 0. 05).Conclusion Mayinglong Shexiang Hemorrhoids Ointment combined with photon therapeutic apparatus at local area can significantly relieve pain and wound-edge edema,and improve wound healing in patients after mixed hemorrhoids surgery.
