Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of blood cell morphology in blood routine testing. Methods 250 abnormal blood samples collected from Jan 2018 to Feb 2019 in our hospital were selected as the experimental group, and 250 normal blood samples collected in our hospital were selected as the control group. The blood samples of the two groups were examined by both automated blood analyzer inspection method and joint inspection method (automatic blood cell analyzer combined with blood cell morphology). Statistical analysis was performed to analyze the abnormal rate of red blood cells, abnormal rate of white blood cells and abnormal rate of platelet count in the two groups with different examination methods. Results In normal blood samples and abnormal blood samples, the abnormal rate of red blood cells, abnormal rate of white blood cells and abnormal rate of platelet count examined by automatic blood analyzers were significantly different(P 0.05). Conclusions The blood morphological examination in blood routine testing is of higher value. Key words: Blood routine testing; Blood cell morphology; Examination value
