Abstract
Objective Through the analysis of the isolation rate and the trend of drug resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae in our hospital from 2008 to 2015 and provides the basis for the diagnosis and treatment of clinical streptococcus pneumoniae. Methods The samples from different departments were isolated and cultured with fresh Columbia blood agar medium, and Streptococcus pneumoniae was identified by traditional manual method. The antimicrobial susceptibility test of 10 kinds of antimicrobial agents was carried out by the method of paper diffusion. The results were judged according to the guidelines of drug sensitivity test of American Clinical Laboratory Standardization Institute and the minimum inhibitory concentration of penicillin was detected by E-test. Results A total of 425 strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae were isolated in 8 years.Streptococcus pneumoniae resistance to be monitored and the results showed that the resistance rates of Streptococcus pneumoniae to erythromycin, clindamycin, cotrimoxazole were high and the overall resistance rate of quinuprine/dalfopristin and tetracycline showed a rising trend. What′s more, the resistance rates to rifampicinand levofloxacin had been low.No strains resistant to vancomycin and linezolid were found. Conclusions Streptococcus pneumoniaeon a variety of antimicrobial drug resistance is more serious and increased year by year and it′s necessary to strengthen the monitoring. Key words: Streptococcus pneumoniae; Isolated rate; Antimicrobial agents; Resistance rate; β-lactamase
