Abstract

Objective To investigate the separation, identification and antimicrobial resistance of streptococcus pneumoniae and provide guidance for clinical medication. Methods The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of streptococcus pneumoniae to penicillin and other 12 kinds of antimicrobia was obtained by agar dilution method. And the streptococcus pneumoniae was isolated from the sputum of respiratory tract infections hospitalized patients. Results The percentage of streptococcus pneumoniae sensitive to penicillin was 43.8%(96/219),intermediate resistant was 24.7%(54/219), and highly resistant was 31.5%(69/219).The resistance rate of streptococcus pneumoniae to erythromycin, tetracycline, clarithromycin, cotrimoxazole, cefotaxime, levofloxacin, chloramphenicol, cefuroxime, vancomycin, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone and azithromycin was 79.9%,74.9%,69.4%,76.3%,9.1%,2.3%,10.0%,26.0%,0%,55.3%, 46.6%,15.5%,91.8% respectively. Conclusion The resistance rates of streptococcus pneumoniae to sevral kinds of antibiotics were relatively high, therefore clinical treatments should be reasonable.
