Application of health education in nursing care for burn

Abstract
Objective
To analyze the effect of applying health education in nursing care for burn patients.
Methods
56 burn patients treated at our hospital from July, 2015 to July, 2016 were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group, 28 cases for each group. The control group were routinely cared; in addition, the experimental group were given health education. The mastery rate of health knowledge and nursing satisfaction were compare between the two groups.
Results
The mastery rate of health knowledge and the satisfaction rate were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Routine nursing care combining health education can increase the patients' self-care consciousness, accelerate their health recovery, and improve the nursing satisfaction and quality.
