Application of High Quality Nursing Service and Health Education in Surgical Patients

Objective To discuss the application effect of high quality nursing care on health education of general surgical patients. Methods 240 patients received treatment in the department of general surgery from April 1st,2013 to May 31 st,among which 120 patients who were given high quality nursing care are regarded as research group while the other 120 patients who were given ordinary nursing care were considered as comparison group. Satisfaction rate on nursing care,understanding of their conditions and awareness rate of health education were compared between the two groups. Results The satisfaction rate of patients on nursing care,understanding of their conditions and awareness rate of health education of the research group were significantly better than those of the control group. Conclusion High quality nursing service combined with health education can promote the understanding of patients on health education knowledge,improve the patient satisfaction and the relationship between nurses and patients,so as to effectively reduce medical disputes and improve the image of the hospital in the hearts of patients.
