Study of comprehensive intervention in patients with neurocysticercosis

Abstract
Objective To detect the treatment effect of comprehensive intervention in patients with neurocysticercosis. Methods Different anti-cysticercus treatment methods, different anti-cysticercus treatment time, mannitol dexamethasonum and neuro-surgery were used in patients with neurocysticercosis. Results After follow-up one year of finishing anti-cysticercosis, Praziquantel, Albendazde combined methods could improve the effective rate obviously compared to single drug methods(P＜0.05);early anti-cysticercus treatment, appropriate and systemic anti-cysticercus treatment, initiatively applying mannitol, dexamethasonum and mastering the indications of neuro-surgery could improve the effective rate obviously(P＜0.05). Conclusion The comprehensive intervention of four methods could improve the effective rate(P＜0.05) and the four measures is effective against the sequelae of neurocysticercosis.
