Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy of oral solution of lactulose for constipation in patients with cardiovascular disease. Methods 120 patients with constipation from cadiovascular department were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.Rhubarb soda was orally taken by the control group 0.6-0.9 g per time, three times a day,and Phenolphthalein 0.1-0.2 g in the morning and evening.Oral solution of lactulose was taken by the experimental group 15 mlper time,3 times a day.The effective rates of cacation after taking medications in both groupa were compared. Results After the treatment, the effective rate of cacation was 96.67% in the experimental group and was 83.33% in the control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05).No serious adverse reaction occurred in the experimental group. Conclusions Oral of solution lactulose for constipation in patients with cardiovascular disease is effective and safe. Key words: Oral solution of lactulose;  Cardiovascular disease;  constipation;  Efficacy observation
