Clinical analysis of esomeprazole in the treatment of refux esophagitis

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of esomeprazole in the treatment reflux esophagitis.Methods Eighty cases of reflux esophagitis were randomly divided into treatment group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases).The treatment group was treated with esomeprazole 40 mg once daily.The control group was treated with omeprazole 40 mg once daily.After four weeks treatment,the two groups of symptoms alleviated and healing situation was compared.Results Observation of clinical symptoms showed that the healing significant efficiency of treatment group and control group were 72.5％ and 47.5％,respectively.Therefore,endoscope findings of the two groups were also investigated and their healing significant efficiency were 92.5％ and 80.0％,respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Esomeprazole in the treatment of reflux esophagitis can achieve significant results as well as good security.
