Effect of esomeprazole in the treatment of reflux esophagitis

Objective To analyze the clinical effect and adverse reaction of esomeprazole in the treatment of reflux esophagitis. Methods 70 patients with reflux esophagitis were selected as the research objects and divided into treatment group(37 cases)and control group(33 cases)according to administration mode.The omeprazole was used in control group,esomeprazole was applied in treatment group,the effect of two groups was analysed. Results Total effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05),symptom score after treatment in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group(P0.05).Incidence rate of adverse reaction in two groups was compared,with no statistical difference(P0.05). Conclusion Treatment effect on esomeprazole in the treatment of reflux esophagitis is remarkable,safe and effective.It can be used as an ideal drug treatment of reflux esophagitis.
