Clinical evaluation of sodinm hyaluronate combination with dehydrocortisone for the treatment of patients with periarthrites of the shoulder

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of combination treatment using sodium hyaluronate and dehydrocortisone on periarthritis of the shoulder.Methods:Eigty patients were randomly assigned to two groups:The patients in combination treatment group(n:40) were domestic injected with sodium hyaluronate and dehydrocortisone.In the control group,forty subjects were only injected with sodium hyaluronate;The Clinical efficacy,changes of symptoms and motion of shoulder joint were assessed.Resuits:The overall clinical efficacy rate in combination treatment group was better than that in control group (36% vs 20%,P (0.05).Conclusion:Combinative injection of sodium hyaluronate and dehydrocortisone is an effective treatment for periarthritis of the shoulder.
