Clinical curative effect observation on sodium hyaluronate injection combined with joint mobilization techniques in treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis in acute phase

Objective To explore the non-surgical treatment method and effect of scapulohumeral periarthritis in acute phase. Methods 160 patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were divided into four groups according to visit order. Resting and oral vitamin were regular used in group A,Cold Therapy in Group B,cryotherapy and sodium hyaluronate ( SH) injection were adopted in group C; group D were treated with cryothera-py,sodium hyaluronate ( SH) injection and joint mobilization techniques. Results Treatment scores of patients in 4 groups were better than pretherapy after 2 weeks treatment ( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01) ; fineness rates of 4 groups were 30. 0% ,52. 5% ,75. 0% ,95. 0% respectively,clinical efficacy was D C B A ( P 0. 05) ). Conclusion Shoulder joint cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate,and combined with the joint mobilization techniques enabled the shoulder pain relief,improved joint activity and prevented the degeneration of articular cartilage caused by swelling,pain and restricted joint movement.
