Analysis of Anti-infectives Used in the Dispensary for Inpatients of Our Hospital

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of anti-infectives in our hospital and to provide references for the management of the clinical application anti-infectives.METHODS: The consumption data of anti-infectives used in the inpatient dispensary of our hospital during Nov.2004 to Nov.2005 were retrieved using computer network management system,which were classified and analyzed statistically.RESULTS: Of the total consumption sum of drugs in our hospital,anti-infectives accounted for 16.10%,lower than the average national level of 27.97%.CONCLUSION: It is extremely important to strengthen the monitoring of rational clinical application and management of anti-infectives in our hospital,and it is recommended that hierarchical system be carried out for the management of anti-infectives.
