Analysis of Anti-infectives Used in Our Hospital in 2003～2005

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of anti-infectives in our hospital in 2003～2005 and to analyze the features and tendency of the use of anti-infectives so as to provide references for the rational use and scientific management of this kind of drugs.METHODS: The DDDs of anti-infectives in our hospital were computed using defined daily dose(DDD),which was set by WHO Drug Statistical Cooperation Center. RESULTS: Penicillins,cephalosporins,quinolones and macrolides were the most commonly used anti-infectives.The annual consumption sum of anti-infectives in our hospital has been dominating the first place in 2003～2005,yet the percentages of which decreased year by year.Most of the anti-infectives decreasaed in daily costs year by year.CONCLUSION: The use of anti-infectives in our hospital in(2003～2005) was rational on the whole.
