Analysis of Anti-infectives Used in Our Hospital in 2007～2008

Objective To investigate the use of anti-infectives in our hospital and to analyze the features and tendency of this kind of drugs,so as to provide references for the rational use and scientific management of anti-infectives.Methods The consumption data of anti-infectives used in the dispensary of our hospital during Jan.2007 to Dec.2008 were retrieved using computer network management system,which were classified and analyzed statistically.Results Of the total consumption sum of drugs in our hospital,anti-infectives accounted for 22.45%.Penicillins,cephalosporins,quinolones and macrolides were the most commonly used anti-infectives.Conclusion The use of anti-infectives in our hospital in 2007~2008 was rational on the whole,yet it needs to be improved further that hierarchical system be carried out for the management of antibacterials.
