Financial Business Plan Evaluation

This diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The main purpose of this work is to execute the evaluation of the certain business plan from the perspective of its successfulness using the set of already known appraisal methods along with the comparison the real implemented business with its planned version using horizontal and vertical analysis. In the first part of my diploma thesis – theoretical one – the business plan as the main document of creation new business will be observed with its functions, types, objectives and value. Among that, the whole structure with its main components of business plan will be presented, including the financial business plan with the full description of the evaluation methods that are used nowadays in the business world. Practical part will be devoted to the observation of the business plan of elite class apartment house that took place in Ukraine and its evaluation. Whole components of business plan including executive summary, marketing plan, industry overview and financial plan will be mentioned as well. Moreover, the whole set of appraisal investment methods will be used to evaluate the certain business plan to make a conclusion whether the business plan is successful or not. On the basis of obtained information from the evaluation process with the outcome of the comparison of already implemented same project with its business plan using horizontal and vertical analyses the final outcome of business plan implementation expediency will be defined.
