An Experimental Study on the Analgesic Effects of Xiaoxintong Capsule on Pain Mode of Mice

To investigate the analgesic effects of Xiaoxintong Capsule(XXTC). Methods 50 mice were randomly divided into 5 groups.i.e.blank controlling group (BCG),Positive controlling group(PCG) and 3 treating groups with various dosages of XXTC (TG). Then, pain models were prepared with the methods of chemical and heat stimuli respectively among the experimental animals and treating procedures were given to the animals respectively to investigate the analgesic effects of them on the experimental mice.Results Various dosages of XXTC all could elevate the pain threshold of experimental mice, while the analgesic effect was most significant among the animals treated with medium and higher dosages of XXTC (P< 0.05 ).Conclusion XXTC can bring about significant analgesic effects on the pain model of mice prepared by chemical and heat methods.
