Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the pharmacoeconomic efficacies of 3 kinds of cephalosporins antibiotics in the treatment of children's bronchopneumonia.METHODS:A total of 150 patients with bronchopneumonia were randomly assigned to receive Ceftriaxone Sodium(Group A),Cefotaxime Sodium(Group B)or Cefuroxime Sodium(Group C)for 7 days. The efficacies and adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of the 3 groups were monitored and on which cost minimization analyses were conducted.RESULTS:The total effective rates of Group A,B and C were 86%,84% and 90%,respectively(P0.05)and the total costs of the 3 groups were 1 111.82 yuan,1 132.82 yuan and 1 219.62 yuan, respectively.CONCLUSION:Group A(Ceftriaxone Sodium)has been proved to be preferable for children's bronchopneumonia.
