Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To select the best therapeutic regimen for children’s bronchopneumonia.METHODS:A retrospective study was conducted on the cost-effectiveness of cephathiamidin(group A),cefuroxime sodium(group B) and ceftriaxone sodium(group C) in treatment of children’s bronchopneumonia.RESULTS:The total effective rates of group A,B and C were respectively 97.3%,94.1% and 91.1%(P0.05),against respective costs of 3 046.59 yuan,3 202.42 yuan and 3 749.75 yuan.The three groups’ cost-effectiveness ratios were 3 131.13,3 403.21 and 4 116.08.As compared with group A,the incre-mental cost-effectiveness ratios of groups B and C were —4 869.69 and —11 341.29 respectively.CONCLUSIONS:Cephathiamidin is more cost-effective in treatment of children’s bronchopneumonia.
