Abstract
Objective:To investigate the changes and clinical significances of serum cholinesterase(ChE) and creatine phosphokinase(CPK) in patients with acute organic phosphorus intoxication(AOPI).Methods:According to the poisoning degree 50 cases who were treated with integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine (TCMWM) were divided into mild intoxication group (MIG),moderate intoxication group and severe intoxication group (SIG),otherwise 25 healthy persons were selected as control group (CG).By means of test paper and speed the serum ChE and CPK were detected respectively, meanwhile the changes in cardiac functions were observed. Results:In comparison with healthy persons the levels of CPK in patients with AOPI were increased in various degree and the increased degree was parallel to intoxication degree.Otherwise the activities of ChE were decreased but the decreased degree was not parallel to.Conclusions:The more significant is the increase in serum CPK the more severe is the poisoning degree in patients with AOPI and the prognosis is harmful. It possesses important significance for confirming diagnosis.
