Abstract

Corn single-cross variety Jindan No.54 was bred by inbred-line 14-3b(female) and X19-1(male) in Maize Research Institute of Shanxi agricultural sciences academy in 2004 as a medium earliness hybrid.According to Shanxi variety pre-test,regional test,production test and quality analyses,Jindan No.54 adapted to different colonial densities.The plant population was 45 000-49 500 seedlings/ha,and it can be 52 500-60 000 seedlings/ha in high yield field.Jindan No.54 has the characteristics of high yield and quality,mutiple-resistance,wide adaptation and easy making seeds and so on.
